Dear DSD family,
Bach’s solo violin works remain a cornerstone of the violin repertoire. Where the violin can only “suggest” the underlying harmonic support, the guitar can make it evident and that is where the magic of the guitar versions of these works lies. Bin Hu gives a terrific performance of them, and has imparted a new atmosphere to the compositions by the use of baroque lute scordaturas in the modern guitar. This project was recorded using Sonodore microphones, direct to DSD256, no DXD conversion has been used afterwards.
Hope you will enjoy it!
